Our vision is to be a place where young children can play & learn in a faith-based environment and where  "ordinary can become extraordinary" through age appropriate & simulating activities. 

 New this year, SMLC PS will utilize the Funshine Express Curriculum. 

The Funshine Express Curriculum is aligned with each states'  Early Learning Standards. SMLC PS is a faith based program and we offer character development through Biblical teachings.  Developmentally appropriate activity centers and equipment will be available in all of our early learning classrooms. There is a small fee for the use of the Funshine Express Curriculum. Contact us if you want to learn more about this curriculum. 

• Our classroom teacher to child ratios exceed & are lower than State required ratios. Room placement is based on your child's age, development, and if he or she needs more time to be potty- trained. We will make every effort to help your child achieve this goal. 

We are very fortunate to have such a caring, dedicated, nurturing, and qualified teaching staff. Our teachers are required to have SLED background checks, CPR & First Aid training, and ongoing early education training.
