About Us
Our Vision
Our vision is to be a place where young children can play & learn in a faith-based environment and where "ordinary can become extraordinary" through age appropriate & hands on activities.
We have customized our own curriculum, that has a map for the teachers to use throughout the year to ensure that all skills are being met. We take great care in assuring that we keep correct ratios, & room Placements
SMLC Preschool is a faith based program and we offer character development through Biblical teachings. Developmentally appropriate activity centers and equipment will be available in all of our early learning classrooms.
- Our classroom teacher to child ratios are lower than State required ratios. Room placement is based on your child's age by September 1, 2024.

We are very fortunate to have such a caring, dedicated and, nurturing, teaching staff. Our teachers are required to have Federal & State background checks, CPR, First Aid, AED training, Fire Safety, active shooter and ongoing early childhood education training. We are an allergy friendly school

Welcome to St. Matthias Lutheran Church Preschool!
We take pride in offering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged
8 months-4k. At SMLC Preschool, we believe in providing a well-rounded education that fosters cognitive, social, and emotional development. Our dedicated staff works tirelessly to create an engaging learning experience for all of our students.

*Weekly Chapel for Bible Stories and fun activities that helps build their Character!

-Develop a love of reading by enjoying a variety of books offered in our classrooms, Teachers reading daily to the children and Phonics activities!
*Find joy through weekly Music classes that will include singing, dancing, instruments and more!
*Weekly Physical Movement Classes will help the children fine tune their motor skills and spatial awareness skills!
*Art activities that will also help with their skills and imagination!
